So who has downloaded the Project Life app to their phone or Ipad? It is a bargain at 99cents (there are in app purchases for more content, which you will want!). If you are like me, and most people with IPhones, you take most of your photos with your phone. This makes it easy to create a page in minutes and anywhere that you are. They now even have a print option, so you can upload and order pages and prints in a variety of sizes.
As a Stampin' Up demo, I can happily say that the Project Life by Stampin' Up is available in the app. I have been doing a mix of digital and paper Project Life scrapbooking and have actually been getting it done! I completed 2012 and I am halfway through 2013. In the meantime, I am keeping current with my 2015 album. The page above took about 5 minutes and I am so pleased how it came out. I ordered it in 12 x 12 and received it in about a week. I slipped it into a 12 x 12 page protector and 1 page was done for January 2015.
I will be sharing more of my paper and digital layouts in the next few weeks so stay tuned!

Gift card Holder for Mom
Have you seen these adorable gift card holders made with the envelope punch board? Jackie Topa, a wonderful SU demo shared instructions for this on YouTube. I of course changed the DSP and color combo, and added my own little touches.
My mom loves purple so I decided to use some wisteria wonder cs along with some sahara sand. The DSP is from the sweater weather 12x12 pack. I know that it doesn't look like it, but there are some more neutral patterns in there. I made the flower with some crepe paper and 7/8 scallop circle punch. The stamps sets are sketched birthday, perfectly penned, and flowering flourishes. I also used some washi tape from the this and that suite. It's hard to see but there is some sparkle on this card. I used a sakura stardust gel pen. Everything else is SU.
Go make a few of these, they are super fun and easy!

Curly Halloween Wreath
So I had been seeing these curly paper wreaths all over the internet and decided I needed to try one. It seemed like a lot of work just looking at it. Lo and behold, it was super easy! Now I won't lie and say it isn't time consuming, but it is so worth it. I already have a plan to make a few for Christmas for my friends and family. The great part about these is that it uses up a lot of DSP. I have to admit, I horde my DSP and even though I can't use it for workshops, I still hold onto it. So this may thin out my stash just a bit. I see one for each season, holiday....ideas are endless......
